Intimidated by all the buttons on your camera? Afraid to take it off of AUTO?

Unlock your digital camera’s potential by learning the basics of photography and design with two local professional, award-winning photographers. We will focus on basic camera functions such as white balance, shutter speed, aperture and F-Stops, as well as the principles of design and composition.  This three-part class will consist of an interactive morning class, an afternoon photo shoot trip with guidance from your instructors, and an evening viewing party (dinner will be served) of everyone’s newly developed skills. Prizes will be awarded in all categories!

Your $149 ticket includes breakfast, a full day of learning, a reference binder filled with everything you learned during the class (focus on your camera, NOT on taking notes) and a dinner party where we review what you learned. Bring a friend and not only save on your ticket price, but also have someone to practice and learn with.

Makes a great gift for the photography enthusiast. Gift certificates are available!

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTORS

Devon Morgan is a full-time wedding, commercial and portrait photographer and owner of PhotoSynthesis Studio in Alpharetta. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Photojournalism from the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia. PhotoSynthesis was named "Best of the Best Photographer" in 2010 and 2011 in the Around About North Fulton Magazine's Readers' Choice Awards. Devon also received a 2011 Bride's Choice Award from Wedding Wire, recognizing the top 5% of wedding professionals nationwide.  To view samples of her work and recent shoots, visit www.PhotoSynthesisAtlanta.com.

Rick Harris' passion for photography began at the young age of 15 when he purchased his first rangefinder camera. His early photo experience was centered on nature and landscapes, which resulted in developing a keen eye for detail and lighting - central in his work today as a wedding and portrait photographer.

As owner of Richard Harris Photography, his style has evolved over the years and is now best defined as portrait-photojournalism. View his work at www.RickHarrisPhotography.com

Due to the hands on nature of this course, it is limited to a maximum of 15, and minimum age requirement is 14.
